ISO 22716: 2007 is the international standard for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for cosmetics.

The ISO 22716 standard provides guidance on documenting and regulating the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products. The standard's guidelines provide practical methods for managing many factors that can affect product quality.

The main advantage of implementing ISO 22716 is the ability to sell products on the European Union market! Because ISO 22716 is a mandatory requirement of the European Cosmetics Regulation No. 1223/2009. And the easiest way to show compliance with the standard is to issue a certificate.

The standard directly concerns the quality of cosmetic products. It is aimed at ensuring the safety of consumers of finished products.

GMP applies to everyone involved in the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products, such as manufacturers of finished products, distributors and importers / exporters.

It is important to know that the ISO 22716 standard has clear requirements for the production of cosmetic products. If you meet all the requirements, you will receive a certificate. In order to check whether your company meets the requirements of the standard, you can fill out a questionnaire.
