Type examination certificate - a document confirming that the product has been tested by an independent conformity assessment body and its compliance with the requirements of the technical regulations has been documented. Type examination certificates can be issued to the direct manufacturer of the product (his representative) or its supplier (seller).

Conformity assessment - a process that demonstrates confirmation of the declared qualities of the product, properties of goods and services, the requirements of the Technical Regulations, existing standards or sets of rules and conditions of contracts.

Conformity assessment procedures are determined by specific modules, which are described in the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On approval of conformity assessment modules used to develop conformity assessment procedures and rules for the use of conformity assessment modules" dated January 13, 2016 No. 95.

To obtain a type examination certificate in Ukraine, the following documents must be provided:

  • an application, certified by the company seal, and also signed by an authorized person of this company;
  • a full description of the products subject to certification (technical characteristics, scope, detailed image of the products).
  • depending on the certification scheme, a contract with an attached specification and a shipping document (invoice, invoice, etc.) are provided;
  • test reports;
  • the manufacturer's technical documentation (technological, design), if necessary.
