On August 13, 2020, the Law of Ukraine “On State Regulation of Activities in the Field of Organization and Conduct of Gambling” came into force. The law establishes requirements for activities in the field of organization and conduct of gambling in Ukraine, determines the legal, economic, social and organizational conditions for the functioning of gambling.
In accordance with Articles 22 and 23 of the Law of Ukraine “On State Regulation of Activities in the Field of Organization and Conduct of Gambling”, the organizer of gambling must ensure the certification and inspection of gambling equipment and the online system of the organizer of gambling by certification entities included by the Authorized Body (KRAIL) in the list of certification entities.
The list of gambling equipment subject to certification, approved by the Decision of the CRAIL dated 01.04.2021 No. 128, determined the following equipment that must undergo conformity assessment before its use:
- Slot machines.
- Gambling tables, including those with a roulette wheel.
- Online gambling organizer system.
- Shuffle machines (card shuffling machines).
The list of certification bodies that can certify gambling equipment was approved by the Decision of the KRAIL dated April 15, 2021 No. 156, which determined the list of conformity assessment bodies that perform work on the certification of gambling equipment.
To certify gambling equipment or an online gambling system, you need:
- Contact us in any convenient way;
- Provide information about the gambling equipment or online gambling system;
- Agree on the terms of cooperation, sign a contract and make an advance payment for the provision of services for the certification of gambling equipment or online gambling systems;
- Go through the certification procedure from a certification body included by the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries in the list of certification bodies
- Obtain a certificate of conformity for the gambling equipment or online gambling system.
