UkrSEPRO Certificate — an official document confirming that the product meets the legally established mandatory requirements regarding its safety and is included in the register of certified products in Ukraine (the UkrSEPRO System Register).
UkrSEPRO certificates are issued for a period of one to five years, depending on the product type and certification scheme. The scheme is determined by the customer and may include the following stages: selection and testing of product samples, analysis of manufacturer documentation, inspection of the production facility, and assessment (certification) of the quality management system.
- submitting a certification application;
- providing all necessary product/service information (model, description, code, manufacturer's information, etc.);
- determining the certification scheme;
- concluding a contract and making payment according to the contract;
- performing the full range of work;
- issuing a UkrSEPRO certificate of conformity for the specified period.
Certification in the UkrSEPRO system is regulated by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers “On standardization and certification” No. 46-93 of 10.05.1993.
The list of products subject to mandatory certification in Ukraine is presented in the Order of the State Border Service of Ukraine No. 28 dated 01.02.2005.
To obtain a UkrSEPRO certificate, you must provide the following information:
- manufacturer details;
- applicant's details;
- a power of attorney from the manufacturer to the applicant (if these are different legal entities);
- product data (description, composition, technical characteristics, operating principle, area of application/use, etc.);
- test reports and certificates obtained in other countries (if available);
- contract and invoice/warehouse certificate for certification of a batch or a single copy of the product.
To obtain a UkrSEPRO certificate, you must complete the following steps:

- Agreeing on terms, signing a contract and making an advance payment for the work performed
- Document approval - we send you a mockup of the certificate so you can see what will be included in the documents.
- We issue a certificate on the certification body's letterhead and send it to you by courier. We also email you scanned copies immediately.
